Itinerary
DAY 1: HANOI – MAI CHAU
07:00 – Pick-up at hotels in the Old Quarter, Hanoi Opera House or Gate 1 – National Convention Center. Depart for Mai Chau.
09:00 – Rest stop in Luong Son, Hoa Binh.
10:00 – Stop at Thung Khe Pass for photos and enjoy panoramic mountain views.
11:00 – Arrive at Lac Village. Enjoy a traditional local lunch at a Thai stilt house. (Vegetarian options available upon request in advance.)
13:00 – 15:00 – Local guide leads a walking tour to explore daily life in Pom Coong Village, Lac 1, and Lac
Optional: Rent an electric car (at your own expense) to explore all 8 villages in the valley.
Visit Thai stilt houses and learn about their unique culture.
Explore local handicraft stalls, learn how to weave brocade, and shop for souvenirs.
Free time for cycling, shopping, or photography.
18:00 – Dinner at the homestay.
Evening:

Overnight at a local homestay in Lac Village.
DAY 2: MAI CHAU – HANOI
07:00 – Breakfast at the homestay.
After breakfast:
Free time for cycling or rent a bike to visit Van Village, located at the foot of Pu Van Mountain, inhabited by the Thai people.
If it’s Sunday, visit the local Sunday market in the town center.
11:30 – Lunch and rest at the stilt house.
15:30 – Depart for Hanoi. On the way back:
Stop in Cao Phong to buy local oranges
Stop in Ba Vi to shop for fresh milk and other local specialties
18:30 – Arrival in Hanoi. End of tour. See you again on your next journey!
