Mekong Delta a day trip

7:30 AM – 8:30 AM
Our guide will pick you up from your hotel (District 1) or at our office (203 De Tham Street, District 1). On the way, you will visit Vinh Trang Pagoda, the largest pagoda in the Mekong Delta region.

9:30 AM – 10:30 AM
Upon arrival in My Tho, enjoy a boat trip on the Mekong River, where you can see fish cages and floating houses along the river. The boat will take you through a small canal where you can completely escape the busy town. The boat will then take you to Coconut Island in My Tho.

10:30 AM – 11:00 AM
Stop at a local family home to enjoy tropical fruits, honey tea, and honey wine.

11:00 AM – 11:30 AM
Continue to a local coconut candy shop, where you can learn how to make candy and explore coconut tree handicrafts. Take a walk around the village, admiring the fruits, flowers, trees, and local houses.

11:30 AM – 12:00 PM
Next, head to a music spot where you will enjoy traditional Southern Vietnamese melodies, performed by local singers. You will travel by horse-drawn carriage or tram to the music performance.

12:00 PM – 12:30 PM
Experience a three-leaf canoe ride along small creeks. You will have approximately 15 minutes to enjoy this peaceful activity.

12:30 PM – 1:30 PM
Arrive at a local restaurant by boat to enjoy a traditional Vietnamese lunch.

1:30 PM – 2:00 PM
After lunch, relax, take a walk, or cycle around the area.

2:00 PM – 4:30 PM
We will head back to the ferry and return to Ho Chi Minh City by bus, arriving around 5:30 PM.
